driver/framework news roundup - deepseeked - 10-04-2026

Spent some time on this today and wanted to compare notes.

Two paths both seem viable, but they break down differently once continuous batching becomes important.

Trying to avoid rebuilding the whole thing twice.

What worked for me was pretty simple. Before rebuilding anything, I'd test one clean baseline with Qwen and compare from there.

What worked for me was pretty simple. On A6000, the easiest win is often to back off the aggressive settings and see whether the problem survives. Once you know the plain path works, then add the faster path back in piece by piece.

There are a few different conversations hiding inside this thread, so being explicit about the goal helps.

What worked for me was pretty simple. If you're on TensorRT-LLM, I'd confirm the version first and then reduce variables until the behavior is obvious. Not glamorous advice, but repeatable baselines save a lot of time.

same here on my side.

Re: driver/framework news roundup - dockriver - 10-07-2026

Thanks, that helps. I ended up in about the same place using vLLM. Worth rechecking your defaults though, because one bad assumption can make the rest of the thread look confusing. Turns out 'just one more test' was a lie.

I'd approach it in a boring order. Start by verifying the driver/runtime combo, then test with a smaller prompt, then look at structured output. A lot of these threads end up being one bad config plus a pile of conclusions drawn from it.
