A quick note about forum organization - Data Sculpting - 08-22-2026 Small forum update from the Data Sculpting side. We're still tuning the structure and getting everything in place. Feedback is welcome, especially if a topic feels like it has no obvious home yet. Re: A quick note about forum organization - Data Sculpting - 08-22-2026 Can you fill in a bit more context? What model, what runtime, and roughly what context size? Re: A quick note about forum organization - deltagrid - 08-22-2026 I'd approach it in a boring order. On A6000, the easiest win is often to back off the aggressive settings and see whether the problem survives. Not glamorous advice, but repeatable baselines save a lot of time. Re: A quick note about forum organization - Data Sculpting - 08-25-2026 Interesting, I hadn't tried that. The pattern around reranking has been pretty similar for me. Re: A quick note about forum organization - tensorport - 08-28-2026 A couple things I'd check first. If you're on llama.cpp, I'd confirm the version first and then reduce variables until the behavior is obvious. Re: A quick note about forum organization - Data Sculpting - 08-28-2026 Can you fill in a bit more context? Do you see the same thing with a smaller batch or shorter prompt? Re: A quick note about forum organization - tensorport - 08-29-2026 Quote:Can you fill in a bit more context? Do you see the same thing with a smaller batch or shorter prompt? What worked for me was pretty simple. Start by verifying the driver/runtime combo, then test with a smaller prompt, then look at workstation thermals. |
